This blog is authored by Armel Ramadji Doumnande. Ramadji is a Chadian blogger living in Maryland and Working in Washington,DC as IT Manager for an NGO where he is in charge of the computer systems and web management and helps support the IT infrastructure and staff’s IT needs. He holds a Master’s degree from the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY and a Bachelor’s of Science from the Department of Mathematics and Computers Science of the University of N’djamena, Chad.
He also worked as a research associate at the Laboratory for Wireless Networks and Security at the Center for Advancing the Study of CyberInfrastructure at the Rochester Institute of Technology, researching wireless networks and mobile computing before moving to the DC area. Prior to receiving a Fulbright scholarship to pursue his graduate studies in the United States, Ramadji worked as a Network and Systems Administrator for the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie in N’djamena, Chad. Outside the IT world, Ramadji’s interests include cyber journalism, Human Rights and political activism, painting, reading, writing, drawing, and traveling. Beside “The Africa Report” where he reports, analyzes and comments African news, he is also the author of “Bring Hissene Habre to Justice”, ” The DC Files”, and “laleBlog.
